Mommy & Me attire-the benefits to having SideKits & packed cars! ;)

Today I was unprepared for my nephew’s third birthday and me and the girls went without our bathing suits….fortunately my SuperWoman SideKit actually has a swimsuit in it but the girls had just finished preparing their SideKits for school and did not include swimsuits…But I’m NOT the type of mom to deny them the pleasure of participating in a slip-n-slide nor a blow up pool so all of us ended up soaking wet in our clothes and I had to come up with something for Sova to wear once she was done frolicking in the water…Remy actually DID pack underwear, socks and a change of clothes in her SideKit (turns out she’s been paying attention to mom more than I may have noticed!haha)

So my white T and chunky necklace became a dress and belt for my 6 year old! Creativity and innovation live out loud in my home! Ow! Happy Holiday Weekend, Everyone! XXOO Enjoy the frolicking!!!

    The SuperWoman’s SideKit

Today's gal has to be ready for anything! Meet your new best friend! The SideKit.

    Sidekit

I’ve used my SuperWoman SideKit so much these past 2 weeks its time I sit and replenish everything! I felt the need for a new bag too so I started looking around and found a couple fun and inexpensive sites to get them at tho Home Depot is always a great resource in the tool bag section…or any craft store-the craft bags work really well too. Mine is actually a craft bag..but check out these bags as well….

Id like to tell you all that the Carilyn Vaile Infinity dress is the most used arsenal item in my SideKit….however, I’d be lying. Yes…sad but true, my glamorous life as a celebrity stylist and fashion designer calls for something much different…Whah wah….

I must say though I LOVE this item so much that the other day I saw a sister superwoman in her car in the Starbucks parking lot with her laptop on her lap, her phone on the dash and papers all over the place. I felt such warmth in my heart, for I am there in that same place so often, I couldn’t stay quiet…I couldn’t leave her to her heroically hectic life without letting her know she was doing a great job! Soooooo, I grabbed my numero uno item and walked over to her, “do you have one of these (and flashed my DC to AC car adapter)?” … and the conversation between superwomen began!

I left her with”You are doing a GREAT job. Don’t forget to have FUN!”.

So  yes, my adapter is my number one used item in my SideKit. Living in Los Angeles and Orange County in makes sense to have a home on wheels but the daily driving and parking of a tour bus or motor home would most definitely cause  insanity or depression or some other sort of clinical crazy. The next best thing is having a DC to AC car adapter in your car at all times-i’ve included some images to show you what they look like and some links to find them.

Use it for your laptop, for a hair dryer, a hair iron, a blender (for an instant tail gate), you name it! Your Mobile Style Unit has begun! Send me pictures of how you use yours!!
